Instagram Adds New Teen Safety Features For Sensitive Content

Meta will establish more protections for teens on Facebook and Instagram regarding sexual harassment of teens by strangers, the agency announced Tuesday.

An unsealed court filing in a lawsuit against the company revealed internal company documents showing Zuckerberg repeatedly thwarting teenage ventures.

In a blog post announcing the new policy Tuesday, Meta said it wants "teens to have safe, age-appropriate experiences on our apps."

The changes are set to roll out to children under 18 from next month.
