Although digital literacy will now be recognised as a general capability for Australian students, the need to focus on a broader set of capabilities to critically engage with all forms of media is becoming more urgent than ever.

MEDIA LITERACIES

The UN's SDGs include ending poverty, improving health and education, reducing inequality, tackling climate change and spurring economic growth. We want to develop learning and teaching resources on these topics.

GRAND CHALLANGES

Haileybury Explicit Instruction is a highly structured method of teaching primary school literacy and numeracy that is effective for online learning and teaching.

EXPLICIT INSTRUCTION

We are exploring how AI is and will impact K12 education - how we teach AI to students, how AI will be used in learning and teaching and how AI will change how teachers, education leaders and education institutions work.
